Packaging : All seeds are send in a plastics bag with paper envelope as outer layer.

Preparation before sowing of our seeds – Refrigerator fresh-keeping layer

Refrigeration and accelerating germination can greatly shorten its dormancy period and greatly improve the germination and regularity of seeds.

Method : Put the seeds and the container into the fresh-keeping layer of the refrigerator (the temperature is about 4-10 degrees), and wait for 2-3 weeks to take them out for use. Waiting for planting. (The seed temperature of succulents needs to be 18-25 degrees. In low temperature areas, you can wait a few days before planting)

Sowing method of our seeds:

1. Take out the seeds, put 70-80% full of soil in the nursery pot/flower pot, then put it in the water, soak the soil from the bottom to completely wet.

2. Put the seeds evenly on the surface of the soil.

3. Cover the nursery pot/flower pot with plastic wrap, and pierce some small holes in the plastic wrap for ventilation.

4. Put nursery pot/flower pots in a bright and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.

5. Wait patiently for sprouting.

Succulents Q & A :

1. Should succulent seeds be soaked in advance?

There are two main opinions about whether succulent seeds should be soaked in advance:

a. Succulent seeds do not need to be soaked in advance. The reason is that the succulent seeds are very small, and it is even difficult to get out after being soaked, and the succulent seeds can only absorb water after they have grown roots. It does not matter if they are not soaked in water, but they need to be disinfected and softened with potassium permanganate solution (KMnO₄) in advance. Seed coat and release oxygen.

b. Succulent seeds will grow better if they are soaked in advance for germination. The poor germination rate of some seeds is due to factors such as improper planting temperature or poor seed quality. In addition, there are also some seeds that do not germinate due to insufficient water content, so soak the seeds in advance.

2. How many days do succulent seeds germinate?

Succulent seeds will germinate in about 10-15 days under the right temperature and correct planting treatment. If there is no sprouting situation, it is necessary to see which link is wrong. It is very likely that the quality of the seeds is not good. You have to choose regular channels to buy good seeds. If you buy fakes, it will be useless.

Succulent seed planting method :

If you want to increase the germination rate of succulents, you must first understand the suitable temperature for sowing. Generally, the temperature difference between 10-30 degrees is all right. The most suitable temperature range: 25-30 degrees during the day, 10-15 degrees at night, and seeds. The ability to germinate mainly depends on humidity and temperature.

【Sowing Container】

The container for the succulent planting is not very particular. Generally, you can choose the plastic black square, or use the disposable plastic lunch box (the takeaway should not be bad). The lunch box can also avoid the step of covering the plastic film, just cover the lid OK. The reason why the seeding container is covered before the succulents emerges is mainly to prevent Xiao Hei from flying in to lay eggs, but this kind of sealing is easy to open holes in time after emergence, otherwise the seedlings will easily fall out because of insufficient light or too humid!

【Sowing Soil】

Use succulent sowing peat, in addition, you can choose some succulent sowing paving soil (which can reduce bacteria). For succulent sowing, generally choose 1-3mm soil, red jade soil (recommended)/lumanuma soil/hyuga stone/vermiculite. can. The soil filling pot is generally kept at the level of 80% full, and then the pot is soaked in water, soaking can use 3‰ potassium permanganate: water dilution to sterilize the soil.

Sterilization is mainly to effectively inhibit the growth of fungi, especially for slow-germinating varieties.

【Nurturing Seedlings】

After the succulents are sowed, use a watering can to add a little water. If it is a small square pot, it can be covered with plastic wrap. If it is airtight, such as a disposable lunch box container, it will be closed! Then put it on the astigmatism and wait for the fleshy sprouts! note! During the germination of succulents, do not expose to the sun, even a little, natural light is enough! The light will be seen gradually after germination, but not directly in the early stage.

When the succulent seedlings grow, you can gradually increase the light. When there are 6 to 10 leaves, you can consider transplanting the seedlings. If the temperature is almost between 15 and 25 degrees, you can properly fertilize.

Note:

1. Seeds are special commodities, and the growth, development of plants are affected by the environment, climate and soil. Therefore, we will not be responsible for the losses of crop caused by the inappropriate environment, climate, soil and insect damage. Thank you for understanding.
