Product Overview

Ideal for spot cooling, the Honeywell CS10XE Evaporative Air Cooler quickly cools spaces up to 175 square feet. Oscillating louvers and a 300-CFM fan move cool air throughout your space quickly and evenly, consuming only 102 watts of power. Easily transport the CS10XE from room to room with its sturdy wheels and lightweight design. A full function remote control puts you in command wherever you are. The water tank of the CS10XE is also completely detachable for easy maintenance and cleaning.

Energy Efficient Cooling

The Honeywell CS10XE pushes water over honeycomb media to absorb heat—this naturally cools and humidifies the air in a dry space. Its fan then propels cool air (without a compressor like an AC) through a carbon filter and into your space. Simply fill the 2.6-gallon water tank, choose between 3 fan speeds, and let this model bring refreshing cool air to your space.

Programmable Settings

The CS10XE is ideal for cooling a bedroom, even for light sleepers. Select the Sleep speed, on the control panel, and the airflow will randomly vary between High, Medium and Low.

Another popular feature is the programmable timer, which lets you set a time to automatically shutoff operation up to 7.5 hours in advance. Once the set time has passed, the CS10XE automatically shuts off, saving you on energy costs.

Additional Features

  • Carbon Dust Filter: This filter catches unwanted particles and cleanses your air as it cools.
  • Vertical Louver Swing: These louvers can be set to swing left and right automatically for even distribution of cool air.
  • Horizontal Louvers: Easily adjust them manually to direct cool air where you want.
  • Four Speeds: Choose between high, medium, low and sleep fan speeds.
  • Low Water Alarm Function:  Alerts you when the water in the tank is below the minimum level.
  • Control Panel: Make setting changes quickly using the angled LED control panel.
  • Remote Control: You can also make changes from across the room using its included remote.

Summary

The Honeywell CS10XE cools any indoor space up to 175 square feet. With 3 fan speeds, horizontal and vertical louvers, and an easy to use remote control, you can enjoy cool breezes all summer long.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • Low Humidity Areas: Keep in mind that evaporative coolers perform their best cooling in hot, low humidity climates. This is because evaporative coolers add moisture to the air while they cool, which might counteract cooling effectiveness in very humid climates. If you live in a humid climate, this model may still work well for you, but typically when used only for outdoor cooling.
